Dr Julia Long – radical lesbian feminist activist, lecturer, author, gender abolitionist. She researches feminist theory and practice, male violence against women, media representations of women, gender, the politics of sexuality, and social movements and activism. Julia tells us that the many problems with porn are well established and feminists should not feel obliged to keep researching and reacting to pro-porn profiteers.

Kathleen Richardson is Professor of Ethics and Culture of Robots and Artificial Intelligence at De Montfort University. She founded the Campaign Against Sex Robots in 2015 to highlight the problem effects of new technologies on human relationships and their potential to create new inequalities. Kathleen explains the problems with sex robots and how artifical intelligence is presented positively with little regard to its considerable potential for harm.

These professional women are lone voices in an academia dominated by the pro-sex-trade narrative and rarely get a chance to speak out.
